Troubleshooting for gigCalendar 1.0 in recommended order of execution: - Check the Help sections included with the component
- When in doubt, use the System -> Global Checkin button in Joomla / Mambo admin menu. This solves most issues regarding not being able to edit and/or display Gigs / Venues
- Along these lines, be sure to click Cancel or Save when viewing an existing GigEditor or VenueEditor Page. Clicking on any other link besides the Cancel or Save button will leave the Gig / Venue checked out and you confused
- Many folks on the forums (including ourselves) have had, are having or will have problems with their WYSIWYG mambot editor. Be sure that you're using a compatible browser (generally this is limited to Firefox and IE).W
- Tip: if you're having trouble copying and pasting in Firefox, try Shift-Insert rather than Ctrl-V. Works great for us. Use Firefox or die
- Many of the other issues appear to be related to Joomla / Mambo global configuration file and the URL you are using to access your administrator's area. We recommend you review these two forum posts:
