Export and import your gigCalendar settings with GCS (gigCal Settings) file format. The GCS is an XML-formatted file containing settings related to gigCalendar. You can even choose which settings you'd like to export with the check boxes at the bottom of the page. Toolbar Actions - Export: Exports the selected Items under the Export Settings section.
- Close: Closes the window.
Import Settings Upload gigCal Settings File ( .gcs ) Allows for importing of gigCal settings exported from another or previous database. Settings File Use the "Browse" button or type the full path to choose the GCS file on your local hard drive to upload and import. Upload File & Import Click this button once you have chosen the GCS file in the Settings File text area. Export Settings Choose which settings you'd like to export with these check boxes at the bottom of the page:- Archived List Field Order / Published Status

Step-by-Step Guide to Import / Export Settings
Import Settings - Choose "Browse" and find the .GCS file on your local drive.
- Press the 'Upload & Import' next to the Upload textfield. This will begin the import process, the first step of which is a validation of the GCS file data. Once the data is validated, an intermediary page displays to verify you want to import settings and is kind enough to tell you which type of settings you are going to import.
- Continuing you will import the settings.
Export Settings - Select the items you want to export by checking the boxes in the Import/Export Settings section towards the bottom of the page.
- Press the 'Export' button in the toolbar.
- This will begin the download of a new .GCS file for you to save on your local hard drive.
