The gigConfig General Settings allows you to set the top level design and features available on the calendar. 

In 1.0.x, the List View page is the default link for the gigCalendar component menu item. There is no way in this version to modify this. A work-around is available by searching the forum .

Toolbar Actions

  • Save: Saves any changes that have been made.
  • Close: Closes the window.  This button will discard all changes made.

Add/Edit gigConfig Information Fields

The table at the top shows the available sections and configuration options.  Details below.

The number of the item.  Has little importance.

Publish
Shows status and the menu items.  This toggles the publish state of the item on the main page. An unpublished item is not availabe on the frontpage of the gigCalendar.
Reorder
Allows to change the order the items appear on the gigCalendar.  
Menu Item
Shows the name of the item that you are modifying. These do not change.  The List View is the list of the current gigs. The Full Calendar View shows a large traditional calendar view of the upcoming gigs and allows users to browse.  The RSS Feeds is a link to an RSS feed of the gigs.  The Archived List View is the same as the List View but it displays gigs from the past.

Link Name
This allows you to give a name to the item that appears on the gigCalendar. 

Other General Settings

CSS
Allows you to modify the style of the calendar.  
Menu Delimiter
Allows you to set the delimiter between the items in the list view

Month and Day Names
Allows you to alter what appears for the days and month names on the calendar. The list is hidden by default.  Press "show" to see the list.

Show Menu on details pages
This  shows the menu items on the details page of the gig
Show menu on top
This makes the menu available at the top of the list view of gigs,

Show menu on bottom

This makes the menu available at the bottom of the list view of gigs.
