The venueManager page gives you full control of all the Venues in gigCalendar. From here, you can add, edit, and delete any Venue. All of the current Venues are listed in the table and sorted descending by name, by default. All other functions on the page are described below. Toolbar Actions - Publish: This button allows you to set the Publish Status to "Published" for any Venue that you place a check mark next to in the table. This works best for setting the Publish Status of multiple Venues. The "Published" value works the same as the rest of Joomla, meaning that you can add Gigs to the Venue and it is viewable on the main website.
- Unpublish: This button works the same as the Publish Button, but it sets the Publish Status of checked Venues to "Unpublished". The "Unpublished" value also works the same as the rest of Joomla. An Unpublished Venue can not have new Gigs added to it, and it is not viewable from the main website.
- New: Takes you to the Add Venue page.
- Delete: Removes checked Venues from the system. After you click Delete, a confirmation window will pop up allowing you to proceed with the deletion or cancel it incase there was a mistake.
- Help: Displays this page in a popup window.
GigCal Core Functions Above the list of available menus, there are three links that remind you of GigCal's core functions. In order to start creating Gig's, you must first add at least one Band and then at least one Venue. These links will take you to the correct pages to let you perform those functions. Venue Manager Table Fields

This is the ID number of Venue. It does not have any functionality, it is more just for reference.
Check Box
The check box at the top of the table allows you select all, or deselect all, Venues with one click. To select individual Venues, simply click in the check box beside that Venue.
Name
The Name of the Venue. Clicking on "Name" at the top of the table will sort the table by the name of the Venue. It will first sort them in descending alphabetical order. If the list is already sorted by name, you can change between ascending and descending order by clicking on "Name" again.
Location
Displays the location of the Venue. This column is also sortable. Clicking "Location" in the top bar of the table has the same effect as clicking "Name", only it acts on the locations.
Link to online ticket sales
If you have a link to a website where users can buy tickets to the Gig, you can enter it in here. This field is not required.
Add New Gig to this Venue
Clicking the icon in this column will take you to the Add Gig page with the Venue already selected.
gigsPlayed
This column shows the number of Gigs assigned to the specific Venue.
Published
Clicking the icon in this column allows you to Publish or Unpublish the specific Venue.
