Skinning the Full Calendar (month view)
3 skins are delivered with the default installation of the gigCalendar component. As you might expect, these skins contain different colors, layout, images, etc. To switch skins on the Full Calendar you need to import a GCS file (see instructions). You can find additional Full Calendar skins at gigCalendar's Download site.

Richard Medek, gigCal's CSS guru, composed detailed information about how to effect the Full Calendar's output with CSS at the Controlling the Full Calendar page.

Skinning the miniCal Module
The gigCalendar can easily be skinned using GCS files. There are a large number of minical skins available at gigCalendar's Download site. These skins contain different colors, layout, images, etc. To switch skins you need to import the GCS file (see instructions). You can find additional miniCal skins at gigCalendar's Download site.

Skinning other parts of gigCalendar
Other settings pages in the gigConfig area give you the ability to customize the look of the related output page. Some, like the details pages, give you an HTML template-based system. Others, like the List View, give you a CSS text area like we have seen with the miniCal Module and Full Calendar above. It is possible to import and export this data as well, although being friendly with XML formatting is a plus! You may want to remove fields unrelated to the display from the GCS files to make this work correctly without disturbing other settings upon install.
