Hi
I would like to set the mini calendar to open up on a specific month of my choosing on each of my pages where it is posted.  Each page should have it open up on a date specific to that page.  I know that I can do this by altering the url, however I am having trouble figuring out what that format is for this.

Examples:

&date=2009-11-01
&date=11-2009

&year=2009&month=11

Any help would be fantastic.  I really love this componant and would be happy to make a donation and post a great review on the joomla extensions site if I can get it to do what I need.

Thanks!!

I don't think that you can change a URL and have that apply to the minicalendar module.

The minicalendar module pulls the content to fill itself based on today's date that is set on the server via PHP's time() function.

Perhaps there's another way to deliver this data. Can you paint the picture of the page as you'd like to see it? Is this a content page or a page generated by the gigCalendar component?

Hi
It is a content page.  with the mini calendar as a small module in the upper left corner.  I will have about 20 of them and I need the mini calendar to open on a specific month in the future for each page.  Each page will be different.

I see. You might be able to modify the module to get it to do what you want. You will have to reprogram one to display the date that you'd like and then duplicate them. Sorry, this wasn't what the original intention of these modules is so you will need to customize them for this special usage.
