Ability to buy tickets online

Hi Guys

Great to see progress and looking forward to testing the J1.5 version.

One thing that we need is the ability to buy tickets online to listed gigs. Tickets need to have a unique number and payment via PayPal AND PayMate (we use PayMate as we are in Australia)

I am sure that this would be a feature that many many users would welcome.

Is it a possibility?

You can just set up a link for each gig to point to many different online systems.  This allows complete flexibility for all systems.

I understand that, but there are some event booking components that have the payment facility and will show a calendar of events.

But the thing is that I really like gigCalendar and the features it has - for example, you only need to put in artist biogs once and same for venues. It's a very well-thought out component but the only problem is that they don't have many people available to do the coding. I have offered to BETA test and have also sent in many suggestions.

If there could be a plugin that creates the ticket (Event Name, Date, Venue, Time, unique ticket number, name of purchaser etc) and also allows payment via PayPal - that would be perfect.
